A paper produced by researchers from the U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration in 2001 showed that there are four main categories of work-related accidents with explosions, namely (1) safety and blasting site security; (2) stone fly or flyrock, (3) premature detonation (premature Blasting) and (4) misfre (blasting absent).
